PRINT JOURNEY- Print is my passion

My print journey has been a long one.  I did my first printmaking workshop (Collograph) back in 2003 with Peter Wray RE, in York, UK, followed by a Safe Etching and Drypoint workshop, also with him.  This led me to doing a BTEC Diploma in Foundation Art and Design (3D design) achieved with Distinction from York College.  In 2005 I took part in an Experimental Printmaking Workshop at St Martins College of Art in London.

Enter a break of 17 years.

The 2020 Lockdown brought me back to printmaking again, and I have gone back to basics working with Lino and Monotype to develop prints. As I don't have a press I hand pull my prints using a Baren and spoon for burnishing.
In 2021 I started multi coloured prints using the reduction method.
2022 is going to be my year of print! Follow my progress here.
